| 1977 | The company started their own production line. This was so successful that the range of products grew from awnings to roof boxes, bike carriers, rooflights and steps and gradually achieved great renown in the whole of Europe and other parts of the world. |

| 1997 | Omnistor applied for, and was awarded the ISO 9002 certification. | |
| 2001 | The company is bought by two large investment companies, the BOF (Buy Out Fund) and the GIMV, that is quoted on the stock exchange. | |
| 2003 | Omnistor is awarded with the ISO 9001:2000 certification. | |
| 2005 | Thule, the world leader in Sports Utility Transportation, acquires Omnistor Accessories. Today, over 140 people are employed and products include a very wide range of camper and caravan accessories reflecting quality, comfort and durability. |
